The religious ceremony takes the same format as in other countries. You are encouraged to choose the readings and the format. We then send the draft of your ceremony to the priest who will be performing the ceremony for approval. A very useful link to prepare your wedding service may be found at www.gettingmarried.ie.
You are more than welcome to bring your own priest who will receive permission from the church authorities here to preside over your wedding.
