E-mail Print PDF

Wedding venues are usually restaurants that specialize in weddings, and not hotels. The wedding reception traditionally includes a minimum of 3 courses. You will be given a list of menus to choose from. You can take elements from one menu and put them in another if you choose, but ultimately you will decide on the starter and main course. The aperitif precedes the main meal, which is an elaborate and exhaustive selection of canapies accompanied by wine, champagne, martini and beer. Desert is served where the choice can often be your own personalized wedding cake, which usually comes as part of the package. Seating arrangements, place names, flower centre-pieces, wine, champagne, and after-dinner liqueurs come as standard. In general, if you have an evening wedding, the reception will start once you arrive from the church and continue until 2am. Those with special dietary requirements and children are very well catered for. Please not that one the wedding day, there is no choice of starter and main course. All restaurants prepare food on-site, nothing is pre-cooked so you can be guaranteed the highest quality.
